I'm originally from the Midwest--born and raised.  So, I am no stranger to snow.  HOWEVER, it's been a long time since I've seen this much snow.  It was a bit exciting!

Hair Tutorial Video

Hey ya'll!!  As you may (or may not) know, us Midwesterners were hit with a big snow storm this past Tuesday.  We got a whopping 12 inches of snow!!  Well, the cabin fever had gotten to me and apparently gave me a little extra motivation to get something up on the blog.  I decided to make a video tutorial on how I wear my now shoulder-length hair the most.  By all means, take a looksee!

Eye Glasses Review (video)

Hey all!  So I finally got around to doing a review video on my newest pair of eyeglasses.  I've gotten lots of questions about them, actually.  I also, made this video while in The Bahamas and I give you a little peek of what we're up to there.  Take a look!

Remember, these glasses can be found HERE, they are the Derek Cardigan 7014 style in tortoise shell.  I think they are almost sold out, as they use to have them in black, but I don't see that as an option anymore.    They also have several other styles that to me look almost identical.  Happy shopping!

P.S.  I cut & colored my hair.  I plan to reveal it on Monday or Tuesday.  Stay tuned!

Back...

....to making videos!

I've decided that I'm going to try to add another dimension to the blog by posting some videos regularly.  Specifically, I plan to do product reviews through video instead of as a regular post.  Sometimes the writing, taking photos, and editing both can be pretty time consuming.  So, video can come in handy in that aspect, and it's a bit more personal.  I have a few things I want to review for you guys really soon, so stay tuned for that!

Anyway, to have some footage to brush up on my video editing skills, I did a little videotaping of me and the kids at the park.  Now this may be the most pointless video you've ever watched...but if you want, humor yourselves. :)

New Hair Video--How I Flat Iron My Natural Hair

Hey guys.  I just finished editing (such a pain) and uploading another hair video on YouTube.  I'm showing how I flat iron my hair using the flat iron with what's called a "straightening comb".  Take a look!

Well, I've finally made my very first video! It's just an intro and I felt hella awkward making it, which I'm sure will fade over time. Anyway, this vid isn't in HD quality. I'm new to all of the video editing, etc. and accidentally took it out of HD. But future videos will be in full HD so that you can get a nice clean view--promise!! Anyway, I plan to post a new video, some hair tutorial perhaps, by this weekend. Let me know what you all would like to see! I also plan to do all kinds of videos, not just hair.
