Now that I'm a wife and mother, I don't go out as much as I use to. When I do go out, I now prefer a more "low key" atmosphere that has good music, great drinks, and a 25+ aged crowd. So I definitely make it out to this monthly event brought to us by DJ Salah Ananse called Sunday School. It takes place the 4th Sunday of every month at Social Resto Cafe & Wine Bar (which is the cutest little restaurant, complete with good international cuisine, great drinks, and an attractive staff. lol).
The music is an eclectic mix of House, AfroBeat, Soul, etc., with an eclectic crowd to match. There's also live percussion along side the DJ, courtesy of John Roberts (google him). So you know it's all the way live!
If you're ever in ATL, you definitely need to check it out.
